Athalia Monae, a Chicago native, invented the Alahta case—a stylish, eco-friendly hairbrush and comb case designed to keep brushes hygienic and secure. Frustrated by the lack of suitable storage options for her comb and brush, Athalia sketched her vision one night, leading to the creation and patenting of the Alahta case. 

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, she writes for Entrepreneur Media and Authority Magazine and advocates for Feed My Starving Children, donating a percentage of sales to the nonprofit. Athalia's journey has been challenging but rewarding, empowering her and deepening her understanding of the struggles women face in business. She hopes that others will appreciate the Alahta case as much as she enjoyed creating it.
